Town dispurses tornado grant money to area agencies

The Town of Windsor recently received a grant from the State of Colorado for $950,000 to reimburse money spent by the Town during the 2008 tornado.

Of that, $650,000 will finish paying off expenses incurred by the town to rebuild. The money now leaves the Town with no financial cost associated with the tornado.

The remaining $300,000 will be given to law enforcement agencies and city managers in Fort Collins, Loveland and Longmont to reimburse them for their help during the tornado.

See Sunday's Windsor Now for the full story.
