Girls golf starts title defense

Brush — Windsor’s Erica Schlomer led the Wizards to the low score at the Brush Invite. She was first an 82, and teammate Erika Balfanz was third with a 91. For Greeley, sophomore Michaela Breit, who attends Greeley West, played well off the tee en route to second place.

Senior Kristen Heiden carded a 101 and sophomore Maclee Hughes shot a 113. Windsor will be back in Brush on Tuesday for the Brush Invitational.

Bunker Hill Country Club

Team Scores – Windsor 274, Greeley 280, Roosevelt 314, Brush 328, Fort Morgan 329, Fleming 378.

Top five individuals – Erica Schlomer (W) 82, Michaela Breit (G) 88; Erika Balfanz (W) 91, Michaela MIller (R) 92, Hocheder (B) 92
