Windsor and Severance residents elected one new member and retained one incumbent to the Windsor-Severance Fire Protection Board of Directors, Tuesday.

The two, four-year terms that were up for election were seats held by John Thomas (Tom) Buxmann and Robert Starck.

Buxmann was re-elected with 207 votes, followed by Windsor resident Del Maxfield with 203 votes. Maxfield will fill the seat vacated by Starck who lost his re-election attempt with 91 votes.

Also seeking a seat was Gary Lipps, owner of the Lil' Flower Shop, who had 163 votes.
