The Windsor-Severance Re-4 School District will be conducting free developmental screenings for children ages infant through 5 and not yet attending kindergarten, the district announced in a press release Tuesday.
Families interested in the Colorado Preschool Program for the 2010-2011 school year need to have their child screened and fill out eligibility paperwork.
Two screenings are planned over the winter months.
The first screening for vision and hearing will be Jan. 22 while the first developmental screening will be held Jan. 29.
A second vision and hearing screening is scheduled for March 5. And the second developmental screening is scheduled for March 12.
The vision and hearing screening must be done prior to the developmental screening.
