Windsor High School student-directed play "Arsenic and Old Lace" kicks off tonight and runs through Saturday night

“Arsenic and Old Lace” will being its three-night run at 7 tonight at the Windsor High School auditorium, 1100 Main St.

The student-directed play will also run at 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday. The play is taken from the book by Joseph Kesselring, and Windsor senior Rachael Plantz is directing the play.

“The play is about these two old ladies who have people come to their house and they decide it's better off for them to not be alive so they put arsenic in their tea,” said high school theater arts and drama teacher Julie Estrada. “It sounds kind of depressing, but it's a comedy.”
