AURORA — Joe Sanger ran for 100 yards and a touchdown and threw for another score Saturday as Windsor beat Silver Creek 14-7 in the Class 3A championship game at Legacy Stadium.
It was the third state football title in school history for the Wizards.
Jacob Molina had 48 yards receiving and a touchdown and Jordan Porterfield ran for 56 yards for the Wizards (13-1), who won the school's third state title.
Austin Apodaca was 22-for-39 for 313 yards and a touchdown and two interceptions, Greg Reynolds had 122 yards receiving and Ryan Rankin caught five passes for 90 yards and a touchdown for the Raptors.
Silver Creek, which was playing in its first title game, had four turnovers.
Sanger scored the winning touchdown on a 2-yard run early in the fourth quarter. It capped a drive in which Windsor converted on two fourth-down plays, the first on a fake punt near midfield.
