Temperatures will take a tumble today as a cold front rolls through the region. Well see highs in the upper 30s this afternoon, about 15 to 20 degrees colder than Thursday. There will also be a chance of light snow and gusty winds across Weld County through the morning hours. Any accumulation is expected to be light, with less than a half inch in most cases.
The mountains will pick up an additional 6-12 inches by tonight and the Front Range could see up to 1 inch of new snow. This will be a fast-moving storm and will clear out in time for the weekend. Were expecting a warmer and drier weekend, with highs in the 40s and 50s both Saturday and Sunday across the plains.
