Mild but breezy weather will prevail again today across northern Colorado. Expect partly sunny skies with temperatures aiming for the mid 50s. In the mountains, its continued avalanche danger. Use caution when hiking or skiing in the back country today; human-induced avalanches could be triggered easily given the recent snowfall. Fair skies are forecast overnight with lows dropping to the upper 20s, making it not as cold as last night.
Monday will be another above-average day with highs in the upper 50s.Snow will be somewhat limited over the next few days as a dry pattern sets up statewide. Aside from a few minor snow showers, the next opportunity for mountain snow will come with a cold front on Tuesday and Wednesday. It appears that the moisture with this system will stay confined to the high country, but it will provide a dose of cooler air midweek for the Front Range and plains.
