Windsor town board member Matthew O’Neill, who also serves as the mayor pro tem, submitted his paperwork to run for mayor against current Mayor John Vázquez, who submitted his petition to run for re-election last week.

O’Neill, who serves out of District 3 on the town board, is the owner of The Wood Butcher. He works out of his home in Windsor.

Also submitting a petition to the town of Windsor for town board member seat in District 1 is Myles Baker.

Baker is a billing analyst at JNR Inc. and works out of his home.

Vázquez, O’Neill, Baker and Curt Gramberg (District 5 town board candidate) are the candidates who, so far, announced candidacy for Windsor offices.

Candidates running for mayor and town board seats in District 1, 3, 5 and 6 must return their petitions to town clerk Patti Garcia by 5 p.m. Feb. 6.

The municipal election will be held April 3.
