Windsor 41, Sterling 19: The Wizards (8-1 Tri-Valley, 14-3 overall) stretched their winning steak to six games thanks in part to a strong defensive effort in a 41-19 victory over Sterling (2-7 Tri-Valley, 4-13 overall) at Reg Figal Gymnasium on Tuesday.
The Wizards didn't allow more than six points in any quarter and the 19 total points they did relinquish was the least in any of its games this season.
“We played great defense and that generated some offense for us,” Wizards head coach Gary Perko said. “When you hold a team to 19 points, you're doing something right.”
