Quiet weather will be on hand to wrap up the month of January. Well see partly to mostly sunny skies today along with temperatures around the 50-degree mark. This tranquil weather will be short-lived however; February will kick off with a blast of wintry weather.
Thursday will feature increasing clouds with snow developing over northern Colorado. A cold front will send in a much cooler airmass, pushing highs down to near 40 degrees on Thursday for the Greeley area. Expect occasional snow showers during the afternoon, continuing overnight into Friday morning. At this time, it looks like the heaviest snow will stay south of the Greeley area, but stay tuned to the 24/7 Weather Center for the latest on this upcoming storm.
Fridays highs will barely get above the freezing mark. It should clear by Friday evening leading to a sunny and cool weekend with temperatures in the mid to upper 40s each day.
