Heavy snow blankets much of the Front Range and plains, but that system is pushing away and will leave us in a new weather pattern — a chilly, clearer one.

Clouds will break and clear throughout the weekend, but don’t expect Sunday’s sun to create much of a warm-up. In fact, it will be a cold start to the day Sunday and a chilly finish. Monday will be much like Sunday.

There is a quick-moving system that will arrive Tuesday. There certainly will be clouds with this system, and the potential for some light snowfall. However, this next system will not be nearly as strong as the system that is clearing the state today.
