Eaton The Reds hit seven three-point baskets but it wasnt enough to stop Brush from coming into Eaton and winning, 61-57.Eaton made an effort to come back in the third quarter, tying the score at 45 after going into the half trailing by four. But Brush had too much in the fourth quarter.
Austin Reiher led the Reds with 18 points on the night. Britten Abbott chipped in 14 to round out the double-digit scorers for the Reds.

Pawnee 84, Prairie 66: In New Raymer, Pawnees defense was solid through much of the night and Brye Brunelle poured in 32 points to give the Coyotes a big win over league rival, Prairie.
It was an unselfish, team effort from the Coyotes, who had to battle through a poor second quarter that saw Prairie score some easy buckets in transition.
Pawnee (13-1, 7-1 in Class 1A North Central League) hosts Briggsdale on Thursday.

Resurrection 80, Frontier 62: In Loveland, the Frontier Wolverines committed 25 turnovers in the game and fell behind early to a strong Resurrection team.
Resurrection played tough half-court defense, and Frontier too often settled for jumpers rather than getting to the basket. The tentative play cost the Wolverines, who are accustomed to shooting about 20 free throws each night. Monday they shot just seven.
Frontier (7-9) is at Platte Valley on Thursday.

GIRLS HOOPS
Brush The Eaton Reds have been playing great team basketball of late, and that didnt stop when the girls visited Brush on Monday. After falling into a bit of a hole early, the Reds rallied to close the game, winning 60-51 over Brush.In the past five games, the Reds have recorded more than 15 assists. That team-first approach has led to easy buckets and a sparkling, 15-1 overall record not to mention a perfect, 8-0 mark in the tough 3A Patriot League.
