It’s going to be another fairly mild day across the plains, with temperatures climbing into the upper 30s and low 40s. Greeley will see a high of 40 degrees today under partly sunny skies. This is some of the warmest air that we’ve seen in about a week. Enjoy it while it lasts, though, because temperatures will take a tumble this weekend.

Another cold front will race across the state on Saturday. We’ll see highs in the upper 20s on Saturday with a slight chance of snow Saturday into early Sunday. Wind chills will once again sink into the single digits and teens overnight.

Another storm is expected toward the middle of next week, so stay tuned for details.
