A regional tour discussing new resources in job creation and economic growth starts Tuesday and will come to Weld County in late February.
According to a Colorado Office of Economic Development and International Trade news release, the offices team will travel across the region for three weeks to discuss new three-year business plans, current and new tools and resources designed to help stimulate job creation throughout the region.
The tour aims to keep communication open with businesses and people in Colorado, the release said. By visiting 14 regions in Colorado, Ken Lund, the executive director of the office, said hes making job growth a key point of the tour.
Our priority is to retain and grow jobs in every corner of Colorado, showing the attractive economic environment to those already doing business here, as well as to new companies, Lund said in the release.
The tour begins with a stop in Salida, and will continue through 14 regions across Colorado. The tour will end the week of Feb. 27 with stops in Frisco, Windsor and Westminster, the release said.
