The Northern Colorado Legislative Alliance will host its final meeting of the year at 7:15 a.m. Monday at American Eagle Distributing, 3800 Clydesdale Parkway in Loveland.
The alliance, the joint public policy advocacy arm of the Fort Collins, Greeley and Loveland chambers of commerce and the Northern Colorado Economic Development Corp., has conducted monthly meetings during the 2008 Colorado legislative session. At Monday's meeting, scheduled 7:30-9:30 a.m., those attending will learn how legislation that was and was not passed will affect the northern Colorado business community, what issues will be referred to voters this November and what legislation is already in the works for next session.
Legislators confirmed for the event include Sens. Bob Bacon, D-Fort Collins, Steve Johnson, R-Loveland and Scott Renfroe, R-Eaton, and Reps. Randy Fischer, D-Fort Collins, John Kefalas, D-Fort Collins, Kevin Lundberg, R-Berthoud, Don Marostica, R-Loveland, Dianne Primavera, D-Broomfield, Jim Riesberg, D-Greeley and Glenn Vaad, R-Mead.
Cost to attend is $15 per person. Breakfast will be provided.
