A Keenesburg woman, scheduled for sentencing Thursday for aggravated robbery and theft, wants to withdraw her guilty plea.
Rachel Cogar, 30, was arrested in September 2007 in connection with the robbery of the Barn Store in Hudson.
According to Jennifer Finch, community relations director for the Weld District Attorney's office, Cogar's attorney withdrew her representation and Cogar wants to withdraw her guilty plea and has a review set for 9:30 a.m. May 15 in Weld District Court.
On Sept. 14 sheriff's deputies reported a woman wearing a ski mask entered the Barn Store, 540 Main Street, and fired a shot into the store's floor. The women fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of money.
Cogar was arrested Sept. 27, 2007 along with Jacob Irwin for the robbery.
This story was modified on May 9 to reflect the following correction: Rachel Cogar’s attorney has withdrawn representation. Cogar wants to withdraw her guilty plea. This information was incorrect in a brief in Friday’s Tribune.
