McAuliffe Elementary should be proud of students, music program
Thank you, Tim Beckman, music director at McAuliffe Elementary School. Thirteen-hundred of us enjoyed your "North Star" production. Having been a volunteer at Union Colony Civic Center for a number of years, I can tell you I have never seen such a wonderful program from second- to fifth-graders. Several of the staff at UCCC commented on how well-behaved your students were, and we volunteers agreed. Never have we seen a more appreciative and well-respected audience. My section left the theater as they found it. No papers or trash. Your principal, Sandy Cosner, should be extremely proud of her teachers and students.
We, as a community, are impressed with this school.
Peggy Griffith, Greeley, UCCC volunteer
Help from Dayspring Christian students is greatly appreciated
Some students from Dayspring Christian Schools and their parents had a community service day recently to assist people needing yardwork done, windows washed, etc.
A mother-daughter team came to my home and washed the windows sparkling clean. What a lift!
The project was coordinated by Scott Means, a Dayspring parent. There were no charges, no tipping -- just good will and the desire to be of service.
These people should be commended for so willingly giving their time and energy to help others.
Kudos to each one of you.
Kathleen Klein, Evans
Thanks for selling Webkinz
I just wanted to thank Miss Peggy and her store, Lil' Flower Shop, for selling Webkinz because then we don't have to go to another city to get a Webkinz.
Peggy always greets me when I come in. I really enjoy buying Webkinz there.
Thank you again, Lil' Flower Shop.
