Terrell Held, 63, of Windsor, passed away March 25 at Medical Center of the Rockies.
He was born to Herman and Dorothy (Brehm) Held of Windsor July 21, 1950.
He attended school in Windsor. After graduation, he joined the Air Force and retired as a Master Sargent after serving for 20 years — including being a Vietnam veteran.
After retiring he made his home in Windsor. Terrell loved sports and outdoor work, especially yards and gardening. He was a master craftsman in working with wood, focusing on classic toys, furniture and bird houses. He was a hard worker and a real handyman. He worked with John Moore doing general maintenance. He was well-loved by his family; nieces, nephews, aunts uncles and especially the great nephews and nieces.
Survivors include his mother; sister Diana (Paul) Bleigner of Greeley; two nieces Carolyn and husband Steve and Daughter Thea of Raleigh, N.C., and Adele Luther and husband Travis and their two children Logan and Caitlin of Greeley; nephews Philip and wife Gwen Bleigner of Aurora and Andrew Bleigner of Cookevill, Tenn.
He is preceded in death by his father.
A graveside service with full military honors will be held at 10:15 a.m. Thursday at Lakeview Cemetery in Windsor. A memorial service will follow at 11 a.m. at Marks Funeral Chapel, 9293 Eastman Park Drive in Windsor.
