Venita F. Pfeifle, 57, of Greeley, passed away April 14 at Hospice of Northern Colorado. She was born Nov. 21, 1956, to Carl and Doris (Burk) Geller in Tulare, Calif. She married Kenneth Pfeifle in Las Vegas, Nev., in 1992.
Venita lived in Bakersfield, Calif., prior to moving to Greeley. She managed the Super 8 Motel in Windsor.
She was baptized at Westview Church in December 2013. She enjoyed yard work and raised Bichon Frieses for about eight years.
Venita is survived by her husband, Ken Pfeifle of Greeley; mother, Doris Geller of California; daughter, Julie Grabel of Spokane, Wash.; sons, Justin (Brenda) Cragin of Denver and Adam Cragin of Spokane, Wash.; brothers, Chuck Geller and Glenn Geller of California; sisters, Judy Linebarger of Oklahoma and Marcie Suddjian of California; 10 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and stepchildren, Tracy Rene McComas and Robert Pfeifle, both of Bakersfield, Calif., and Jolyn White of Oklahoma.
She was preceded in death by her father, Carl Geller.
The family would like to thank Hospice of Northern Colorado, Pastor Terry Newton, Chaplain Rick Holmlund and Judge Todd Taylor.
A memorial service was held April 17 at the Westview Church of Christ, 4151 20th St. in Greeley.
