Weld County Sheriff’s Office seeks help in finding missing man

The Weld County Sheriff’s Office is seeking assistance from the public in locating a missing and possibly endangered adult.

Kenneth “Kenny” Jewett was last seen Saturday near the intersection of Colo. 14 and Colo. 257 north of Windsor. He is believed to have left the area on a blue bicycle, and headed southbound on Colo. 257. He is known to frequent Windsor-area businesses, according to a news release from the Weld County Sheriff’s Office.

Jewett is a white man, about 5 feet, 10 inches tall and 190 pounds. He has grey hair and green eyes. He was last seen wearing a light, plaid shirt, blue jeans, dark, heavy boots, and dark sunglasses. He may be wearing a fishing-style round hat with a full brim, the release stated.

Jewett may be apprehensive in requesting or accepting assistance from someone he doesn’t know. He is not believed to be dangerous, according to the release.

If anyone locates Jewett, or anyone with any information about his location could contact the Weld County Sheriff’s Office dispatch at (970) 356-4015, Ext. 2700.
