Arena Sports Volleyball is offering volleyball camps for girls who want to improve their volleyball skills over the summer at Arena Sports Facility, 7850 County Road 5 (Fairgrounds Avenue) in Windsor.
According to a news release from camps director Hermie Corns, all camps start on June 9 and end June 19.
Camps for seventh, eighth and ninth grades run from 10 a.m.-noon and cost $130. After May 31, the cost is increased to $145.
Youth camp for fourth, fifth and sixth grades run from 8:30-10 a.m. Cost is $100. After May 31, the cost is increased to $115.
Participating in the camp includes a T-shirt for everyone.
As for the summer volleyball leagues, Corns said all leagues begin July 7 and end Aug. 9.
The five-week summer leagues for seventh- through ninth-graders will have one 90-minute practice per week with one-hour match play on Saturdays. The cost is $125 or $140 after June 27.
For fourth-, fifth- and sixth-graders, teams will have one 60-minute practice per week with one-hour match play on Saturdays. The cost is $110 or $125 after June 27.
Corns said practice for all teams will be held between 8 a.m.-2 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and Saturday matches will run between 8 a.m.-2 p.m.
Outside intact teams are welcome to play in the leagues.
