Town to begin work on Windsor Village waterline Monday

On Monday, the town of Windsor will begin replacing the waterline within the Windsor Village Subdivision.

Residents living on Sunflower Drive, Snapdragon Drive, Woodbine Drive and Woodbine Court will be impacted directly, and those who travel on 1st Street between Garden and Eastman Park drives will see periodic traffic control. The work will be completed by Concrete Works of Colorado, who will be replacing the waterline in Windsor Village Subdivision due to an increase in waterline breaks/outages.

Additional work that will be completed as part of this project will be sidewalk and access ramp replacement and roadway mill and overlay. Residents within the subdivision will be notified 24-48 hours prior to any work that is adjacent to their property and/or work that will impact their parking and water supply. Streets will not be completely closed to traffic however, there will be some restrictions on movement, and if possible, alternative routes are advised. Parking may not be allowed on the streets during this project; once the work is completed and the “No Parking” signs are removed, parking will be permitted.

Additional information may be obtained by contacting the Town Engineer’s Department at (970) 674-2413, or accessing the Town’s website at www.windsorgov.com.
