ARGUMENT OVER SPORTS TURNS INTO POLICE CALL

At 11:18 p.m. June 12, police were called to the 100 block of Calabria Drive regarding a loud party that may have turned into a disturbance. When police arrived, several people were outside the residence and police spoke to a man and a woman who were arguing as to whether soccer or baseball was the better sport. SMALL HERD OF CATTLE LOOSE IN SUBDIVISION: At 6:10 a.m. June 18, police were called to the 1000 block of Montana Court in the Ventana subdivision regarding a herd of cattle on a resident’s yard. The resident said he wasn’t sure where the cattle belonged, but they appeared to be a bull, four females and four younger cows and were moving north along Colo. 257. They crossed the road and continued northwest to Weld Road 72. A resident on Weld Road 72 told police the cattle could be stored in with his cattle on his property.
