Town to host family camp out and movie in Boardwalk Park on Friday

The town of Windsor will host a family camp out and movie in the park on Friday in Boardwalk Park, 100 N. 5th St.

The movie will be “The Nut Job,” rated PG.

Activities begin at 6 p.m. and the movie begins at 8:30 p.m. Cost is $8 per person and children under 1 year old are free.

Activities include a campfire, a movie on the big screen, fishing, paddleboats, and more. A camp style dinner of hot dogs and hamburgers will be provided as well as a light breakfast.

The Town of Windsor Museum will be open to visitors and a special treat will be provided.

Be sure to bring a tent, sleeping bags, flashlights, fishing supplies, fishing license, bug spray and anything else that you will need in your camp.
