The fifth-annual Taste of Windsor Now! will offer a variety of local food and activities for the whole family from 4-8:30 p.m. July 17 in Boardwalk Park, 100 N. 5th St.
Admission to the event is free. Food vendors will be selling from their booths in the park. This year’s food vendors include CSK’s Grill, All Time Favorites, Famous Dave’s, Kona Ice, Maui Wowi, Rumi’s House of Kabob, Taste of Philly and Wing Shack.
“It really has become a tradition in the Windsor community,” Windsor Now! Event Producer Emily Tilton said. “You can get a couple of hot wings, a bit of a Philly cheesesteak sandwich, and finish it off with a fried Oreo, so you can get a lot of different flavors instead of just committing to one meal choice.”
Other activities and booths include inflatable kids games, a golf activity, animal adoptions through Denkai Animal Sanctuary, a boxing club and more.
“It’s quite diverse and it really does fill the park,” Tilton said.
A beer garden will also be on site, with all proceeds going to benefit the Northern Colorado Soccer Club.
The event is produced by the Windsor Now! newspaper in partnership with the town of Windsor.
Fort Collins-based band Euforquestra will perform their blend of reggae, funk and soul music in the park during the event as part of the town’s ongoing summer concert series held each Thursday through Aug. 7.
Windsor dance school Just For Kix will do a dance performance during the band’s intermission.
Attendees should bring a chair or blanket, as well as their friends and family, Tilton said.
