High Hops Brewery took home its second consecutive People’s Choice Award on Aug. 2 from the Gnarly Barley Brew Festival at the Larimer County Fairgrounds.
The festival featured beers from 26 breweries during the event, making High Hops’ second consecutive win a prestigious honor, employee Noel Bennett said.
“It was fantastic,” Bennett said. “We are all super excited to be People’s Choice for the second year in a row. It wouldn’t have been possible without such a good support system and the people that came and visited us out there.”
The brewery featured beers were its American Sour, Golden One lemon pilsner, Power of Zeus American Pale Ale, Honey Habenero Ale, Monster Mash — a sneak preview of the brewery’s upcoming pumpkin pie porter, Blueberry Wheat and its collaboration beer with Verboten Brewery, Wunderbaar.
High Hops Brewery opened in 2012 at 6461 Colo. 392 in Windsor.
