Weld Project Connect is seeking volunteers, especially those who are bilingual, for its Sept. 28 event.
The event will run from noon-4:30 p.m. at Island Grove Regional Park, 501 N. 14th Ave., in Greeley and will provide free on-site, one-on-one services for individuals and families in Weld County who need help because of foreclosure, job loss, health issues, or other issues.
Volunteers are needed to help attendees navigate each of the service areas and provide translation and interpreter services. In 2011, event volunteers helped 1,100 residents.
For more information and to fill out a volunteer registration form, visit weldprojectconnect.org or call 2-1-1. Volunteers must attend one training session. Training dates are set for Saturday or any day from Sept. 24-27.
