Star Trek's Zachary Quinto to campaign for Obama in Greeley

Actor Zachary Quinto will appear with other actors at Obama For America-Colorado vote events in Greeley and Fort Collins today to urge young voters in Colorado to vote.

Quinto, who played Spock on director J.J. Abrams’ “Star Trek” reboot and also appears on FX’s “American Horror Story Asylum,” will be joined by actors Rachel Leigh Cook, Ben McKenzie, Bryan Greenberg and Nick Zano for the OFA-Colorado Youth Campus Tour with stops at the University of Northern Colorado and Colorado State University.

According to a news release from the Obama campaign, the rallies will highlight the importance of the youth vote in the Nov. 6 election.

The actors will appear at the UNC Early Vote Student Rally at 4 p.m. at the OFA-CO field office, 807 17th St., Suite G, Greeley.

Earlier in the day at 1:15 p.m., Quinto and the other actors will campaign at the CSU Early Vote Student Rally at the OFA-CO field office, 1205 W. Elizabeth St., Fort Collins.
