Stepping Stones of Windsor will hold its first soup lunch of the year from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. today at Bethel Lutheran Church, 328 Walnut St., Windsor.

According to a news release from Stepping Stones, soup will be provided by the Duke of Windsor, Asian Pearl Bistro and Guadalajara restaurant.

The soup lunch also will offer salad, bread, desserts and beverages courtesy of Bethel Lutheran Church. Donations will be accepted.

According to Bob and Joyce Folbrecht of Stepping Stones, soup lunches and suppers are the major source of fundraising for Stepping Stones, a nonprofit organization that provides financial assistance to residents in the Windsor-Severance Re-4 School District who are facing eviction and/or utility shutoff.
