Windsor High School senior Sean Glenn verbally committed to play football for the University of South Dakota, according to his website.
The website said that Glenn, a defensive end for the Wizards, made an official visit to Vermillion, S.D., recently and committed to the school where he plans to major in pre-med.
Glenn was named the Wizards’ defensive lineman of the year and was an all-state and all-conference selection in 2012. He had 7.5 sacks, 69 tackles, two blocked punts and six hurries on the quarterback.
South Dakota is a Division I Football Championship Subdivision program, formerly known as Division I-AA, that plays in the Missouri Valley Conference.
The Coyotes were 1-10, 0-8 in conference play, in 2012 and are coached by former University of Northern Colorado and Wyoming head coach Joe Glenn, no relation to Sean.
