A search is under way for the 2013 Mrs. Weld County, a married woman who will represent the community in the annual Mrs. Colorado Pageant in May.

According to a news release, Emily Stark, the Colorado director for the Mrs. America Pageant, is seeking a woman living or working in Weld County who has been a Colorado resident for at least six months and is married during the time of competition to represent the county at the state level.

Mrs. Colorado will be crowned in Denver on May 18 and win an all-expenses-paid trip to Tucson, Ariz., to compete in the nationally televised Mrs. America Pageant in August.

There is no age limit or talent performance in the competition.
