NO AIRSOFT GUNS IN WINDSOR
At 2:58 p.m. Jan. 4, police were called to a field west of Grandview Elementary School regarding four kids with rifles. Four boys were playing war with their airsoft guns, which had orange bands at the end of the barrels. Police told the boys that the use of airsoft guns within the town limits is illegal. The kids told police that they were not aware of that, and said they’d stop using them in Windsor.
YOU’VE LOST THAT LOVING FEELING: At 8:46 p.m. Jan. 6, police were called to the 700 block of Parkview Mountain Court regarding a reported verbal disturbance. A man met police and told them that he was engaged in a verbal argument with his wife because he apparently wasn’t sympathetic to her needs. He told police that there was no physical altercation, and that things had settled down. The man’s wife also said there was no physical altercation, and that the only reason she got angry with her husband was because he continued to play video games even after she asked him several times to rub some cream on a rash located on her backside. Police didn’t observe any signs of a physical altercation.
DUMPSTER DIVING FOR WOOD PALLETS: At 4:26 p.m. Jan. 7, police were called to the 4000 block of Greenfield regarding suspicious activity. A man called police and told them that there was a vehicle driving in and out of parking lots in the area. The man told police that he thought the people in the white van were up to no good. Police contacted a 42-year-old man from Thornton in the van, and he told them he was looking for wood pallets next to dumpsters that people were throwing away. Police told the man not to take items that were not his without permission.
