Mitchell Polkowske earned his second pin of the season to help the University of Northern Colorado wrestling team to a 25-19 victory against the Colorado School of Mines on Sunday.

Polkowske, a 157-pound sophomore, beat Sean Burroughs in 6 minutes, 1 second, and his six points put UNC in front 10-7. UNC did not lose the lead the rest of the dual.

Charlie McMartin, by forfeit at 165, and Jesse Nielsen, a 6-2 decision against Josh Brown at 174, gave UNC three victories in a row.

Sam Bauer’s major decision at 133 and Henry Chirino’s pin at 285 helped the Bears seal their first dual victory against four losses.
