BREAK UP THE PARTY AT 4 IN THE MORNING
At 3:39 a.m. Jan. 12, police were called to Lodgepole Drive regarding a loud party. Police arrived and heard a group of people in the backyard of the house. Police were given permission to enter, and the resident of the home said it was his birthday and the people there were celebrating it. Police told the man, who would be 49 the next day, to keep the noise down because it was approaching 4 a.m.
LIGHTING UP THE NIGHT SKY ALARMS MAN: At 12:57 a.m. Jan. 13, police were called to 7th Street and River Place Drive on a report of a suspicious activity. A man called Weld County dispatch and said he saw 40 to 50 glowing lights in the sky, and it needed to be checked out. Police were unable to locate or observe any lights near the area.
NO HEATING SERVICE AT THIS HOUSE: At 2:05 p.m. Jan. 14, police were called to the 400 block of 6th Street regarding a suspicious person. A woman told police that about noon she heard the doorbell and saw a white man had entered her house. The man told the woman he was looking for another man, and when she said there was no one at the house the man left. The woman told police she had called a heating company to look at the furnace, and thought the man may have been from the company. She called the company, and they said they hadn’t sent anyone to the woman’s home. The man was described as about 6-feet tall, heavyset with graying hair. He had on a brown jacket and tool belt and was wearing a respirator over his face. The man was driving an older red van.
