Windsor High theater department putting on ‘Treasure Island’ Thursday-Saturday

The Windsor High School Theater Department will hold the spring play “Treasure Island” by Phil Willmott — based on Robert Louis Stevenson’s novel — at 7 p.m. Thursday, Friday and Saturday in the Windsor High School Auditorium, 1100 Main St.

According to a news release from theater director Julie Estrada, tickets are $6 for students and seniors and $8 for adults.

“See this great play featuring over 40 students working on the production on stage and off,” Estrada said.

The spring play is the second of three plays put on by the theater department in the 2012-13 school year. The musical “Grease” was held last November, and “The Princess and the Pea” is scheduled for May 9-11.
