A lengthy list of crack sealing projects are slated to begin Monday in neighborhoods across Windsor.
Repairs will begin in the Greenspire Subdivision and then move down the list to Peak View Estates, Weld County Road 19 from Colo. 392 to Weld County Road 70, the Highland Meadows Subdivision, 7th Street from Riverplace Drive to Crossroads Boulevard, Kestrel Drive from 7th Street to Hilltop Drive, New Liberty Road from 7th Street to Crossroads Boulevard, and Brunner Farm Subdivision.
Delays are expected, but roadways will not be completely closed to traffic. Affected residents will receive a notice and additional details on their doors before repairs begin, according to a news release.
Crack sealing is a common practice that involves using a heated rubberized material to seal pavement cracks that have formed due to temperature variations, soil changes and settlement. The goal is to reduce moisture from further damaging the material.
