Northern Colorado men and women between the ages of 30-65 who have never been diagnosed with cancer will have the opportunity to volunteer for a study in the American Cancer Society’s Cancer Prevention Study-3 (CPS-3) from June 25-29.
CPS-3 will enroll a diverse population of up to half a million people across the United States and Puerto Rico and will help researchers better understand the lifestyle, environmental and genetic factors that cause or prevent cancer.
Those who wish to participate can enroll in the study at one of two locations in Weld County:
» North Colorado Medical Center Cancer Institute, 1801 16th St., Greeley, 4-7 p.m. June 26 and 9 a.m.-12:30 p.m. June 29.
» Faith United Church of Christ, 1020 Walnut St., Windsor, 10 a.m.-1:30 p.m. June 28.
