It took Travis Guerette 32 years to finally hit a hole-in-one, but it was worth the wait.
Guerette, 40, of Severance drained the ace on the par 3, 140-yard, No. 14 hole at Southridge Golf Course in Fort Collins on Aug. 22.
Guerette was playing in the Thursday night men’s league.
“It took a long time,” said Guerette, who began golfing when he was 8. “It will probably never happen again.”
A 10-handicap golfer, Guerette said he knew he hit a solid shot before it went in.
“I knew it was going to be close, but you never think that it’s going in,” Guerette said.
