United Way of Weld County has announced new members for the organization’s board of directors and 2013-14 officers.
The nonprofit is governed by community leaders who serve three-year terms that can be renewed once, according to a news release.
Newly elected board members include:

» Kathy Hamblin, University of Northern Colorado/Aims Community College
» Robert Janata, North Colorado Medical Center/Banner Health
» Ken Poncelow, city of Fort Lupton
» Nancy Teksten
» Randy Watkins, Anton, Collins, Mitchell, LLP
The Executive Committee is comprised of chairman Jay Hinrichs, chair-elect Margie Martinez-Perusek, vice chair Fred Otis, vice chair Ken Salazar, vice chair Rebecca Koppes-Conway and treasurer Ted Warner.
Continuing directors are CJ Archibeque, with the city of Greeley; Bruce Broderius; Gary Burton, with PBI Inc.; Dan Dennie, with NCMC/Banner Health; Mike Geile; Randy Geist, with JBS USA; Robert Lowenbach, with JRL Consulting; Bill May, a rancher; Virginia Rosales; Becky Safarik, with the city of Greeley; Cathy Schulte, with Upstate Economic Development; Manny Sisneros; and Mike Trotter, with Front Range Roofing.
