The Weld County Clerk and Recorder’s Office is asking Weld residents displaced by the flood to add a temporary mailing address to receive their ballots this November.
Those who have relocated to a place they now consider a permanent address can update their voter registration at www.GoVoteColorado.com or at one of the Weld County Clerk and Recorder offices.
Those who were temporary displaced but plan to return to their homes before the election can keep the same address.
It is important for the clerk and recorder to have updated mailing addresses because ballots can not be forwarded. Ballots will be mailed out starting in mid-October.
Documents lost in the flood, such as deeds, marriage certificates, mobile home records, vehicle titles, vehicle registrations or others, will be replaced for free throughout the year.
