TEEN FINDS IPAD ON ROAD AND TURNS IT INTO POLICE
At 6:41 p.m. Dec. 4, Carson Kazmierski, 17, of Windsor found an iPad on the road while driving at Main and 12th streets. Police went to his Windsor home and he told them the iPad was on when he found it and it was playing a slideshow of pictures. The iPad was still playing the slideshow when Kazmierski handed it to the police. The iPad was locked. Police called Apple to see if the company could contact the owner of the iPad, and they said they would check into it.
NO PULLING KIDS ON SLEDS WITH GOLF CART: At 2:28 p.m. Dec. 8, police were called to the 400 block of Whitney Harbor on a report that children were being pulled on sleds behind a golf cart in the area. Police arrived in the area and located several children playing in the snow in front of a home at the 1500 block of Pintail Cove. The garage was open and police saw a golf cart with sleds tied behind it inside the garage. Police contacted the homeowner and advised him there had been complaints in the area about children being pulled behind the golf cart. The man said he understood. Police told him it was unlawful for him to pull the children behind the golf cart on the sleds.
