Active Bodies Camp comes to Windsor

Grandview Elementary School teachers Mike Fotsch, Matt Hill and coach Andy Klatt have teamed up with Max Muscle to host Active Bodies Camp Jan. 2 at the school, 1583 Grand Ave. in Windsor.

The camp is open to all students in kindergarten through 5th grade in northern Colorado. Participants can choose between two times of the day, 9-11 a.m. or 1-3 p.m.

Some camp games and activities will include Storm The Castle, GPS hide and seek, gym stations, a snow fort contest and more.

The purpose of Active Bodies Camp is to provide an opportunity for every child to take part in competitive and non-competitive recreational sports and activities within the framework of educational endeavor, according to Klatt.

Campers will need to bring their snow gear for outdoor activities, as well as tennis shoes for indoor activities.

The cost per pre-registered student is $20 and the cost to students who register the day of the camp is $25.

Kids can pre-register for the camp in person from 6-7 p.m. Dec. 30 at Grandview Elementary School by calling Beth Morgan at (970) 339-3168 or at any Max Muscle location in Greeley, Loveland or Fort Collins.
