Christmas tree drop-off information

Christmas trees will be collected through Jan. 5 at the Brush Recycling Site, 801 Diamond Valley Drive in Windsor.

Please remove all decorations from Christmas trees before dropping them off. There is no charge to drop off a Christmas tree, however anyone dropping one off must present a valid permit.

The charge for Windsor residents with a permit is $2 per load. For non-residents or anyone without a permit, the cost is $6 per cubic foot. Residents can obtain a free permit from the town with a valid driver’s license and proof of residency at Town Hall, the Community Recreation Center or the Brush Recycling Site.

Trees may be dropped off between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. through Jan. 5. The drop-off location will close at 2 p.m. New Year’s Eve and will be closed the entire day on New Years Day.
