SUSPECTED BAGGIE OF HEROIN FOUND INSIDE RESTROOM OF BUSINESS
AT 6:24 p.m. Jan. 9, police contacted the clerk at Schrader’s Country Store, 263 Eastman Park Drive, regarding a baggie of possible heroin found in the women’s restroom. The clerk told police she found the baggie on the floor in the restroom. Police took the baggie to the police department and tried to weigh it (scale showed 0.0 grams), and then packaged it with a “to be destroyed” found property tag. Police said the item did appear to be heroin, but didn’t bother to field test it because there was no known suspect.
MAN DEFECATES NEAR BACK FENCE OF RESIDENCE: At 8:19 a.m. Jan. 11, police were called to the 7200 block of Spanish Bay Drive regarding an 18-year-old Fort Collins man who defecated at the back fence of the reporting party’s residence. Police arrived and found a black Pontiac parked next to the reporting party’s home. The reporting party said his dogs were barking and he looked out his back window and saw a man squatting and defecating by the back fence in the green belt area. He then watched the man go back to his vehicle, took some toilet paper, wiped himself and threw the toilet paper on the ground. Police saw the toilet paper on the ground and contacted the man in the car. He told police he was tired and went to sleep. The man admitted that he defecated by the fence. He was ticketed for disorderly conduct (defecating) and littering (toilet paper) and cited to appear in municipal court. Police told the man to use his remaining toilet paper and one of the plastic bags in his car to clean up the mess. The total fines for the two tickets amounted to $160.
BULLET FOUND AT HIGH SCHOOL: At 2:04 p.m. Jan. 11, police were called to Windsor High School, 1100 Main St., regarding a bullet found on school property. A teacher found a .223 round by the agriculture building, and police took possession of the bullet.
