The Community Foundation of Northern Colorado has begun accepting scholarship applications for local high school seniors looking to pursue a college education.
The foundation provides an easy way for seniors to search eligible scholarships. All local seniors can apply, but some scholarships are limited based on financial need, academic achievement, graduating high school and hometown.
“An award from one of our scholarship funds could significantly impact a student’s educational journey and future career,” Community Foundation Donor Services Coordinator Heather Scott said in a news release. “Students from northern Colorado to the Eastern Plains benefit from the generosity and strategic planning of donors who established charitable funds at the Community Foundation.”
The application deadline is March 14 and the Foundation’s selection committee will then review submissions.
The Foundation can be reached at (970) 488-1986 or at scholarships@NoCoFoundation.org.
