What services do you offer? We are a full-service veterinary hospital. We offer preventive medicine, wellness care, advanced dental care, general surgery, laser surgery, advanced anesthesia techniques, diagnostic services, critical care, clinical cancer care, hospice and palliative care, pain management, behavior counseling, nutrition counseling, therapeutic laser treatments, microchipping, acupuncture, animal chiropractic, and physical rehabilitation.
How long has your business been in Windsor? Why did you pick Windsor? I (Sharon DeNayer) purchased this veterinary practice from Dr. Tom Jones in 1991. I chose Windsor because it was similar to the town I had been living in — Worland, Wyo.
Who is the owner and for how long? Owner: Dr. Robin Downing; Manager: Sharon DeNayer; both for 22 years.
Why did you want to start this venture? I owned and operated a mobile veterinary practice in Wyoming for five years and decided I wanted a permanent structure for my practice.
Why should people do business with you? The care our patients receive is “state of the art,” as well as “state of the heart.” We practice medicine as a form of friendship. We have a 22-year record of outstanding care and service. We are accredited by the American Animal Hospital Association and the Better Business Bureau and we are certified as a Cat Friendly Hospital by the American Association of Feline Practitioners.
What’s the most challenging part of operating in the community moving into 2013? You never know what the day is going to bring. That makes each day challenging, exciting and fun.
