Windsor Farmers Market — 9 a.m.–12:30 p.m., Saturdays through September 21 at 5th St. and Main St.

August 8:

Summer Concert Series Street Dance, 6:30-8:30 p.m., on 5th St. between Main St. and Ash St. Join the Hot Tomatoes with Reveille 3 —a tribute to the Andrews Sisters, for a 1940s-era Lindy Hop and Swing. Plus, best 1940s costume contest sponsored by the Town of Windsor Museum.

August 9:

Teen bonfire and movie, 8 p.m. (movie 8:30 p.m.) at Boardwalk Park. Hang out with your friends and roast s'mores, while watching Here Comes the Boom (PG) on the big screen.

August 20:

Windsor Business Expo and Trade Show, 2-7 p.m. at the Windsor Community Recreation Center, 250 N. 11th St. More than 100 exhibits. Win door prizes throughout the day. Bring the whole family. A great way for you to experience local businesses. Free admission.

August 23:

Free family movie in the park, double feature, 8:30 p.m. at Boardwalk Park. "Rise of the Guardians" (PG) and "American Flyers" (PG-13). Bring your lawn chair or blanket.

August 31:

Mud volleyball, check-in begins at 8 a.m. Get down and dirty with the Windsor Parks, Recreation and Culture Department for the 12th Annual Mud Volleyball Tournament on Labor Day Weekend. Tournament will be held at Diamond Valley, 801 Diamond Valley Drive. Register by noon Aug. 30 at http://www.windsorgov.com/RecReg, at the Community Recreation Center, 250 N. 11th St., or by calling (970) 674-3500. Coed divisions. $120 per team. Includes 4M, 4L, 2XL T-shirts.

September 1:

Free family movie in the park, 8 p.m. at Boardwalk Park. "The Lorax" (PG). Bring your lawn chair or blanket.

September 2:

Labor Day 5K, 7:30 a.m. at Boardwalk Park. Don't miss this fun run for everyone. Walking is OK, too. Participants will receive a T-shirt. Prizes given to winners. Save money and pre-register online at http://www.windsorgov.com/Rec/Reg, or at the Community Recreation Center. $15/person (pre-register until noon on Aug. 30); $20/person (Day of race, Sep 2, 6:30 a.m. at Boardwalk Park).
