Chimney Park Pool to open Saturday

The town of Windsor's Chimney Park Pool, 421 Chimney Park Drive, will open for the summer season on Saturday.

Open swim will be held each day at Chimney Park Pool from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. May 27-Aug. 8. After Aug. 8, the pool will hold open swim from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays through Sept. 3, according to a news release from the town of Windsor.

Twilight Swim will be held from 6:30-8:30 p.m. from June 5-July 26, Monday-Wednesday.

Children 9 years old and under must be accompanied by a guardian 16 years or older. Children 6 years old and under must be accompanied by a paying adult. The adult must be within arm's reach of the child at all times, according to the release.

Pool passes are available for purchase at the Windsor Community Recreation Center. Summer pool passes are $25 per person for CRC annual members.

Regularly scheduled pool activities will begin Monday, June 5.

Swimming lesson signups are now available. Morning lessons will be held Monday-Friday at Chimney Park Pool in two-week sessions. Evening lessons will be held Monday/Wednesday or Tuesday/Thursday at the CRC in four-week sessions.

Windsor residents are invited to complete the summer by treating dogs to a swim at Chimney Park Pool. The Doggie Dip will be held from 1-3 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 3, at $5 per dog.
