Colorado cracking down on DUIs this weekend

The Colorado Department of Transportation is encouraging Coloradans to "drink and don't drive" this weekend.

Heightened DUI enforcement for St. Patrick's Day weekend began Friday at 6 p.m. and will continue until 3 a.m. on Tuesday.

Because of the legalization of marijuana, this year for the first time CDOT is also launching a "Drive High, Get a DUI" campaign to remind those who smoke to seek alternate means of transportation if they choose to smoke pot.
